Important Rules Changes for the 2007 / 2008 season

Standard substitution rules will apply for divisions 6th grade and up. Playes in these divisions must play at least 1/4 of each game.

Teams with a 20 point lead must only play defense inside the zone, if marked, or within the 3 point area. The team with the big lead must play a "soft" defense and allow the other team to pass around the perimeter area.

Important Rules Changes for the 2006 / 2007 season

Teams will be limited to a maximum of 10 players

All participants will play at least 1/2 of each game - this requiremend ends once a player has fouled out or is injured and is unable to continue playing.

substitutions will only take place at the breaks between the quarters and midway between each quarter.

For the 3rd grade and 4th grade divisions and the girls 5th grade division, Full court defense will be allowed for the last 2 minutes of the game (provided the team is not 10 or more points ahead.)

In the girls divisions, the goal height will be as follows:

3rd grade - 8'0"

4th grade - 8'6"

5th grade - 9'0"

6th grade and up - 10'0"

The Girls 4th Grade division will use a Junior size ball.
